Vulnerability scans are more vital than ever to ongoing cyber risk management practices.  In 2016 there were 6,447 newly discovered vulnerabilities, 14,714 in 2017, and 9,020 so far in 2018.  In short, there have been over 23,000 newly discovered vulnerabilities since 2016.  As part of CORSA’s ongoing Cyber Risk Management Service, we are pleased to announce that in 2018 CORSA will again offer and pay for an external network vulnerability scan and analysis.  While a significant amount of funds is available for this program, funds are limited so apply without delay.   To be eligible for the 2018 scan and analysis members must have: 1. Remedied all severe vulnerabilities discovered in 2016; and 2. Provide all (100%) member IP addresses.  We hope that the you will take advantage to this invaluable service provided to members.  Please contact Frank Hatfield, Risk Manager, at fhatfield@ccao.org or 614-220-0639, 614-560-1474, with questions or if you need assistance regarding this matter or any of CORSA’s risk management services.
